Agaves
« on: October 15, 2011, 07:20:12 PM »

I've been giving Flint a little juice each day which has the following:

48% orange juice
48% carrot juice
3% agave juice
1% lemon juice

I liked the high carrot content, he isn't always great with his veggies so I thought this was quite good (and he only gets a little each day)

But, is the Agave juice OK??

I dont really know what this is...

Yeah, and would have thought it would be Ok, some Parrots eat the Agave sap in the wild.

Cool, its a very small amount - from the picture I thought it was green beans, and that Agaven was the word for the type of bean. But I was looking more closely today and thought to look it up - and then I was confused!

I hope its ok, he really likes it and its easy to give him as I can buy a small bottle a week - its fresh with no additives

Occasionally, for something a little different, I do put veggies in the juicer for Dave and Swazi and give them it that way for a change
