Put them in a plastic bag, and hit them with a hammer or heavy blunt object.  That works

Just leave it in their bowl. Nico took a while to accept it and each time I bake a new batch she takes a while to get used to that as well.  They'll get there

It took me weeks to get Charlie to eat pellets, i mixed it in the pulses as he ate those readily, and increased the amount till he ate pellets. Chesta took about 10 days, Stumpy straightaway so they all different. You just be patient. And then be a little more patient.

Yes you can freeze them. I make them in huge batches and just take one out the freezer as I need it

here is my latest batch
the ingredients are: Harrions pellets (hence the unappealing colour), baking powder, 2 omega 3 rich eggs, 1 tbsp of ground up linseed and some water. The trick here, when making pellets without any fat or addition of any other flours is to first mix in eggs and then add only a slight amount of water. Then I roll it into balls. If the mixture is too wet the inside will never be baked through and Digby's doesn't like it when it is mushy inside.
The balls can then be rolled in some small seeds, crushed nuts, etc. but Digby is not allowed those
