Butter Nut Squash

Ok oh wise and wonderful people...time for a stupid question from Johnny.
I bought a butter nut squash for Gandalf...but i aint got a clue what to do with it...
Is it to be peeled...cooked...sliced diced...or just thrown in the bin  :rofl:
Any suggestions would be great...yeah Tezza i know...but can we keep it about the  squash please  :ignore:

Its really nice peeled and cubed and roasted in the over, can use a light drizzle of olive oil or a little palm extract  :thumbsup:

I wrap it in tin foil and cook like Jacket potatoes, not for as long though.

You can blitz it in a processor raw as well.

And heres what i finally did with it...i roasted it with sweet potato in olive oil and palm fruit extract...then put it in the food processor and blitzed it...the idea being there was tons of it...and i wanted to freeze the rest..and the result for my first venure into this weird looking veg...Success...his Majesty loved it. :yahoo:
Oh how did i freeze a puree...lol i put it in a tupperware container...and before it was fully a block of ice...somewhat like a very hard sorbet...i cut it into seperate portions...and stuck it back in the freezer.
