Favourite Flavour
« on: October 16, 2011, 07:36:05 PM »

I was just wondering the above cause I recently got Tru a pack of the tropical fruit ones. He loves them. I'm so pleased. I was worried he wouldn't like them.
I don't know whether to stick to what he likes and get the same flavour again or try him with another.
I know the results of the poll won't really help me make a decision cause obviously all birds are different and what they like one day they may turn their beak up at the next. But just to see if there are any that none of our birds like or all of them like.
Just thought if your bird has only tried one flavour you can't really say it is favoured, but  I will say then that Tru has tried and liked Trop Fruits so far. Thanks.
He's just been making me laugh cause he is mumbling some new words and I have no idea what they are. He has recently learnt munch munch. Which is what we say when we release the dogs to eat from a sit. When we were in the planning stages of getting our second dog I was like what will we say to release this one.  And it was suggested gobble gobble.
Could just imagine Truman saying that.

I wonder if these can be frozen? They had macaw ones on special offer on northern parrots cause they were coming up to date.
If you could freeze them you could make the most of bargains like that.
Will have to check what the el paso have in them as to whether I think Tru will like them or not.

I don't think they would freeze well. Would be interested to hear if anyone does though

I bought two lots the other day, one was tropical and the other vegetable. Sid threw them out and hates both.  :cry2: But I will persevere, they tasted ok to me
