just came across a breeder who said AG needed extra calsium  even while feeding pellets and a drop of floradix with added calcium in they drinking water once a week...
i didnt even know what floradix was so had to google and its what i was told to take when i was pregnant with my daughters...
does nyone give it to their birds?????
and who exactly does ONE drop ONCE a week benefit... it must be more of a waste of money if you ask me...

Eli

If you are feeding your grey on Pellets, and they have veggies and odd bits of fruit etc, there is absolutely no need under normal circumstances for additional calcium - unless of course, advised by a vet for some reason.

But I would pay no notice of what you have read and described there - your gut instinct is right

if i was going to give charlie calsium i would choose a calsium supplement and not iron with added calsium.
its just common sense isnt it.... even with my blond brain
