Paula - I got two big bags from the first one - but that's the one that endorses wing clipping apparently
And this the email got back within minutes of sending one off , following Mrs P's email ink she left:
Dear Terry
Thank you for your enquiry about Harrison's Bird Foods.
The food of choice for African Greys is a High Potency Formula Coarse
Ground as this suits their metabolism. Most Greys prefer to hold their
food in their feet and so the coarse pellets suit them better, a few
prefer the smaller size of the fine pellets.
I will send a small sample of both the High Potency Coarse and High
Potency Fine for you to see. Please do realise, however, that this
amount is unlikely to be sufficient to convert your bird to the diet.
Some birds love the food immediately and convert almost instantly, but
for some birds, who are more stubborn or set in their ways, it may be
necessary to purchase a small bag of the food and persist for up to
fortnight. In such situations, however, patience is usually rewarded and
the long-term benefits of improved nutrition in your bird brought about
by changing to Harrison's make the perseverance worthwhile.
I hope this helps
Kind regards
