Someone who my hubby knows breeds greys and hes told him that kiwi are not that good for them. Can anyone tell me why or if this is incorrect ?Bingo loves them.

Kiwi is fine for your bird to eat
In general fruit should be offered less that vegetables, or as a treat as it contains more sugar than veg. Maybe this is what the person meant ???

Kiwi is fine for them, I tend to have a Kiwi everyday and the Hobbits go mad until I give them a tiny bit  :yummy:

jasper like kiwis too. the golden ones are the best,they are a bit sweeter  :)

I love this forum. Just had a kiwi so gave boo a tiny bit then started to panic. For some reason thought cag's couldn't have it  :panic:. Typed in kiwi to 'search' and found this link straight away.
I'd already taken it off him by this time but when i have the other tomorrow i'll let him have a try  :whistle:

does boo still like them,even after taking it off him? i've found that if i take something off jasper he wont like it next time  :biggrin:
