Parrot Cereal
« on: December 10, 2011, 10:05:43 PM »

I got a bag of animalzone cereal with my last order from scarletts and I was excited to try it but Lexi is really not fussed with it. I tried making it more and more squishy (just added more water than recommended) and mixed various things in with it to see if she'd eat it. It's not that she doesn't try it, she will give anything a go now (far from what she was like when she got here, lol) so takes a wee bite but not interested once she has tried it.

Do you think it would be a big no no to offer her the dried mix and see if she wants to nibble that?

Don't know about offering it dry, I'm sure others will know, but have you tried mixing it with something sweet like orange juice?

When I got my samples they were in clear bags with no instructions. Sid turned his nose up at the muesli and the pellets but Ollie eats them all dry. I never knew you moistened the muesli.  :grrr
