I don't personally use insurance
Every trip iv had so far to a vet had included feather damage and this isn't covered
Iv kept them for 8 years now and I have 7 so I ate to think what I would of paid in premiums x

Come September we've owned a parrot 30yrs and never had insurance.
Our hen has had some massive vets bills over that time and like Mandi it's all been feather related, so wouldn't have had a claim anyway.

yep another one here who doesn't have insurance, the only time i've used i would have had to pay anyway, and exotic pets (greys) are expensive insurance!

I used to work in life insurance and mortgages, I once interviewed a man who said he had never taken out any unnecessary insurance policy and saved a fortune, I've lived by his words since!
