What i do is give my fids their veg, fruit, rice, beans/pulse mix and sprouts all together chopped up and mixed every morning they have great fun foraging though it all and when i want to add new things in because its all mixed up and chopped up small they dont tend to notice!!!! But then all of my birds are a bit piggy with their food

Nico isn't keen either. I disguise them in her mash with a bit of palm oil. She still managed to eat round them though

It always makes me so jealous that some of your fids are greedy little guzzlers, bella isnt too fussed, all she really likes is the stalks of broccoli, cauli, mange taut, cabbage, brussels, heavily disguised and apple and grapes, she doesnt like 'new' foods although i do keep trying. And no doubt i will keep on trying

She sounds as if she is getting a good variety anyway, so don't worry too much.

If that's what you think Geff then i will stop worrying. Must say after losing all those fluffy white little feathers she looks like a little supermodel :yahoo:

I know some members fids are fussy, but i suppose when it's your own bird you think the worst.
