We've been giving our parrot toast for breakfast but I've been reading that a lot of you give porridge. What sort of porridge are you talking about? The sort that humans eat (with water) or can you buy pellets that are breakfast porridge pellets? I'm sorry if i sound stupid but I've been a very bad owner for the last month and Billy has had a terrible diet (as have we) and we're all starting to pay for it, bad colds and feeling grumpy. I've just ordered some animalzone plumage pellets so hoping things will be better soon.

We've given our three Hobbits Porridge, it the Scots Porridge oats made with water (no salt)
If you want to make it sweeter, just add a little bit of honey

  Started my new year diet and thought I would have porrige for brekkie, being good made it with water and poured some runny honey into it, guess who else likes it? I had to get another spoon to put some on for Thabo I was amazed at the way he enjoyed it taking it from the tip of the spoon, so to keep me on my diet I have to make it for the pair of us

jasper loves his porridge too,i sprinkle a few seeds on it and he sits nibbling them away until there're none left for me 

toast is good too,with a small amount of peanut butter or palm oil/fruit
