Toast
« on: October 21, 2011, 08:20:37 PM »

Hi guys,

Have been giving Lexi toast in the morning and wondered what is considered a good portion size for her? I spread palm extract stuff on a quarter of a slice and cut that into 4 smaller pieces for her, she eats all 4 bits.

We were talking about it today and wondered if quarter of a slice was too much just for one grey?

I keep forgetting to buy marmite for her but once I do she can have some of her toast with that on instead, she is a baldie so might benefit from having both in her diet.

:hiyaI give mine a quarter of a slice each
I cut it longways and into 3 pieces and put marmite on one and palm fruit on the other 2. Once or twice a week i swap one of the palm fruit for organic peanut butter. They love it. I'm having trouble getting Oscar to take to it, so atm she has a mini seeded breadstick ( tesco) dipped in palm fruit or peanut butter, in the love it or hate it stakes, she hates marmite  :cry2:

Sid hates marmite too. Sometimes I give him a small smear of honey as a treat and he woofs it down.
