Hi All

Stupid question of the day time, i have ordered Tidymix Dried Chillies from Scarletts (Again such great service) but my question is can i also put the seeds that are free in the bag with the chillies in Basils pot or just the whole chillies.

Now, that's not a stupid question I can remember asking that myself once!  Yes, it's fine Greys can eat the seeds of chilies as well.

I mix the chilli seeds in with other food for them too, such as when they are having Mash, or egg etc, as it adds that little bit of spice for them

are the chillies, tidy Banana chips and tidymix mixed fruit treats something your parrot can have on a daily basis.

Marley used to throw chillies out of his cage so never bothered with them since.

I used them in a curry, the kids weren't too happy

jasper likes the whole, dried and fresh chilles. the first time he ate some and he gave me a beaky kiss,i had lip burn for an hour or more, then i realised what it was

i would say they're all fine for a daily treat if they're not already in with their regular food

:baby:  Thabo used to put the dry chillies in his water bowl to swell them, didn't like them dry, but we buy naga chilli from our Indian supermarket which is one of the very hottest and he loves them
