Problem Parrot Foodie Issues.
« on: November 04, 2016, 10:43:02 AM »

Hey, Bobby's turned into a problem parrot He's decided the food in his dish should be all over the floor the minute It's filled he just throws it out, He doesn't seem to be trying to nest or anything like that, If anyone has any ideas why he's started to do this or any suggestions of ways to break him out of this bad habit I'm all ears.

its an awesome game, do you tell him off or tell him to stop? If so you've just made it way more fun.

some of them like to just kick their food about too, does he pick it from the floor and eat it?

might be worth ignoring it for a while

Yeah I tell him off but I'm not really that strict so he knows it's just hot air the little sod, Your probably onto something with the game thing as he just sits nodding at me after he's  done looking all cute He doesn't pick it back up though as I usually just give him a fresh bowl full maybe it tastes better like...victory.

battle of wits Part 1 :)

honestly you have to be a psychologist with these buggers :)

My girl pick out banana chips and just chucks them, it stemmed from her doing it and me saying 'you little monkey' in my raised playful voice, now she does it all the time. :D
I guess it's fun attention

Ah bless her maybe she's just monkeying around So basically we're at their mercy because we gave into attention seeking...oh well.
