Puzzle toys (for Ayesha)
« on: February 27, 2014, 07:22:36 PM »

Thought I'd start a new post rather than hikack the good morning thread again!

So gizmo loves foraging and puzzle solving she can suss a new toy in no time so I asked scarlett which we're the most difficult puzzle toys and I went for the heart shaped mastermind well I put green scarey toy in her cage this morning and left her with it, didnt show her how it worked or anything...... Came home and she's solved it ;)

Here's some of hers ayesha
The wheel of fortune which I fill every morning with her 'wet' food... so veg n sprouted seed in there I sometimes scrunch some shredded paper in it to make it harder for her to get the food out and it keeps her busy longer!

The rings of Fortune which is quite hard as u put the food in the top and they have to line up the rings for the food to drop thru the hole into the compartment below and there's 5 rings stacked.

The heart shaped one is the mastermind you put the treat in the plastic holders on the front and they have to slide each holder with the treat inside to the top of the heart where there's a hole for the treat to drop down into a compartment so they can get it out.

Also got her a new foraging pouch to fill with bits n bobs to keep her busy I've not put that in yet tho its quite big so its on the table next to her cage so she can get used to it. she does accept new toys really well so ill add that at weekend ;)

Bobby got new toys too she likes to shred her favourite is the flossing ring she spends all day ripping it to shreds lol x

Yvie has the rings of fortune, it's been in her cage for over a year & I don't think i've seen her even look at it! Ha ha, I wish she would, I might have to try other puzzle games

Ahh thank you for this Lynn :) they look brill! What would you say is the easiest to begin with, I don't want poppy to be frustrated with something that's to hard for her first puzzle x

I'd say the wheel to start with you can fit loads in so it would keep her busy for quite a while x
