Bagels can be purchased from 24parrot for example and also myself   (thank you, Mandy )
Egg boxes are fine if they are unused. I got loads from ebay for a few pounds. I wouldn't use the boxes in which eggs were stores, you never know what bacteria the egg shells harbour, after all they passed chickens bums!
You can update the toys you already have with chewable parts, like bagels, paper, pieces of cardboard. I use leftover pieces of the baskets digby loves to shred too.

As for the trees: apple, willow, ash, mountain ash, crab apple, maple, hazel, silver birch are one of the most common ones. Pine is fine dry, but not fresh branches - they are not poisonous but full of sap the bird can get covered in.

Nico has just started playing with her cardboard bagel rings. They have been hanging in her cage for months and in the last few days she has nearly destroyed them
