Thanks for the reply.. Ive only had her a couple of days... Should I spray her every day? Is a shower better or just with a spray bottle? Cold water or lukewarm? Thanks for replying back so quick

See what she likes, a shower a week is good if she'll tolerate it, she's just a baby so try to get her used to things,  you can mist her every day,  mine is happy with a cold must, I don't drench her,  just to put some moisture in her skin from the dryness of central heating, some aloe Vera mixed in the water is good.

Thank you! I will get some today and shower her tomorrow or if if et back in time today.... I am new to this, so worried I did notice abs had dry skin but thought it was just what the skin was like... Hopefully her sry skin will calm down after the shower with aloe Vera juice..... Haven't got anything for her to sit on whilst in the shower so I will have to give her a mist whilst she is sitting on her cage door... He only place she likes to be arm is her cage door... UnfortuNtely she's been clipped,, Ive no idea how long she's been clipped they said 17 weeks but not definitely sure will they ever grow back? Seems so cruel to clip her at a young age I just want her feathers to come back...

Would not surprise me.. Have seen her fall down quite a lot as she's been clipped, she likes playing with a babble ball so maybe that could of hit her... Tell you the truth I have no idea... Do you know when she will grow it back? Hate seeing her with a. Patch!

Again you could put a little aloe Vera gel on it but it should grow back quite quickly if she isn't rubbing it off scratching that is x

They have their first proper moult around a year old (this can vary by a month or so) but like yours my Yvie started to moult the downy feathers for a long while before. It will probably only last a few days, but will seem continuous! She may also seem a little quieter than normal

Mine are moulting at the moment too, give her a spray with a water bottle couple of times a week and if you can get her in the shower once a week that will help too x

That looks like it's from a bump or something she rubs her head against, such a the cage bars, to be honest at her age they usually look a mess with their feathers being bashed about from rough climbing etc, but It might be worth a quick vet visit, what's her diet like? Are her feathers wet in that picture?

It does look like she's been rubbing her head does she chicken scratch at bottom of cage? They do tend to look a bit scruffy when they're moulting you could also try a cap full of aloe vera in the spray bottle its soothing and makes the feathers nice and soft.

Yeah i'm sure it's nothing to worry about, it's just like a toddler gets scrapes & bumps until they learn what to do.
