I have 2 greys.Mittu and Jasper.Jasper is of 11months.Mornings they will be on their perches and in the night mittu sleeps in a cage and jasper as she is small wil sleep in a travel cage. This morning when i opened jaspers cage i have seen she has gone bald under her neck.It is red and no feather under the neck.A curve line is visible.Iam worried. Is this called molting?or because i  put her in the travel cage in the nights?pls help me immediately. What are the precautions to be taken.Regarding her diet i give sprouts with vegetables in the mornings and inbetween i give almonds and in the evening seeds and night nowadays giving sprouts because i am not getting parrot food.If i am wrong anywhere pls help immediately.

thanks in advance

Wow sorry you never got a reply after all this time. How is jasper now? I wonder if he's caught a mite or something, if his travel cage is low on the floor?

Molting should not cause bald patches unless jasper is over preening, hope all is well x
