Jamie don't worry, Gizmo looked exactly the same last year. Once he has moulted fully and all the new feathes come through he won't look so scruffy. Is he preening them a lot? keep misting him with plain water and give him a good soaking once a week in the shower.

I'm sure it looks wet sometimes where he is slobbering on them as he chews :(

He HATES the shower, I just bought him one of those savic splash baths but he hasn't gone in yet. Hope he gets curious!

Jamie if they were being chewed birdymans feathers would look very tatty and split, his looks like he's over preening a bit, jasper does this and her feathers are the same :)

Hey guys, this has gotten a lot worse. I'm about 95% sure I'm going to walk in to see an oven ready grey soon :(

He has been doing his best ever recently, screaming near on stopped, super friendly etc..

But I can see skin on his belly (exact same place as previous pic) it has been gradually getting worse but noticed in his bath today :(

Now grabbing one, we recently changed room he was in as suggested by a few people. I'm going to get him a smaller cage (one he has now is GIGANTIC) and have him in the bay near the sofa I sit on. He seems much happier in himself in the room he is in now, he has it too himself, just his cage and a mirrored wardrobe on other side of room. It's quiet, good temperature etc.

He is playing, singing and talking more than ever. Probably heard 4-5 screams in the last week! He is happier and more playful when he is out too!

He is saying new words he has never done before too, good boy, Kira, what ya doing.. all in the last couple of days!
