Abnormal dropping
« on: November 15, 2015, 03:59:50 PM »

Hi,

I recently bought a 5 months old African grey, since two days I noticed he is less active compared to when I bought him (almost 10 days ago).

I was feeding him mixed seeds, fruits, veggies, and greens.

I noticed that his dropping is containing a white curled particles, as in the below image:

Is this normal?

What is your advices?

If you notice a change in behaviour the p my advice is seek a avian vet
What seed mix is she on ?
Are you Givin supplements ?
And avian Uv Lighting (it's a must)
And other changes you notice ? X

Seems like the white part is broken up, like curdled? Does he drink alot, as jaspers gets like this if she's had a big drink, or after a shower, then returns to normal later x

Being less active is a sign of illness, I would get in touch with a vet. Hope he's ok? X
