HELP!!!
« on: January 05, 2014, 03:39:13 PM »

Hi there,

Just in need of quick help tried ringing vet but no answer as its sunday and dont know emergency contact.

I cooked earlier, Iago was in cage etc business as usual until id cleaned everything up then i let him back out as normal. I was in the kitchen with him and he found a bit of raw bacon on the floor that had clearly gone astray. I got it off him quickly enough and he didnt swallow any but it was definitely in his beak! I don't know what to do.... happened about 5mins ago from now so will keep ringing the vet...

Yep he'll be fine, it's unlikely he ate any of it anyway but if he did it would have been a small amount, and wouldn't harm him, the worst it would do is upset his tummy a little. So you can stop panicking now :)
