i dont think even my peach weighs that at 16 mnth old
and little echo is only about 440grams , she always been smal though

Greys can be anything up to 650g so he is a big boy but not outside range. I would keep a record for a month or so and if you are still worried trot him off to the vet with your record.

I always worry about Eric's weight, he is around 400g and has been since we got him at 14 weeks.
He is small anyway and guess the fact his weight never drops means he is ok ?
Also the fact he is never still keeps the weight off

G-g is about 460g, Zazu sounds like a very big birdie you`ve got nothing to worry about in him being too small

thanks everyone ,, zaz was at the vet around 3 weeks ago and got the thumbs up ,,, was not going to take him back till he/she was 6 months old or if i have any probs ,,,,

Just weighed Zuri, and it was a struggle to get her to stay on the scales for a fraction of a second, but I eventually got a reading of dead on 500g, when  first got her 6 months ago she was 450g so I suppose that is steady progress

An that brings back memories bob  Trying to get Nico on the scales  When we first brought her home a year last July she was under weight (370g). At least you don't have that panic.  Make sure you weigh your baby reguarly so you know what is normal for them

Tom, you may find that as Zazu gets older, he weight will steady, then reduce. Haydes at his heaviest weighed 517g, but for the past 9 months he has hovered around 480g. I just remember Haydes spending the first few months with his head in his food bowl

Some babies eat like piggies, others don't, but Zazu's weight is fine

Zazu is fine and a big boy, some greys are much bigger than others just like humans you get small people and big people, tall people and short people, some babies eat loads others eat little a normal weight is between 400-650g and some weigh slightly less which is normally down to the build of them and don't mean they are under weight or ill just as a baby that weighs over 600g is not over weight they just are just like you and me and everyone id different. The babies i have now the oldest one has been sitting at about 400g and the babies that are 2 weeks older are nearly 80-100g more heavy, they have different parents and different builds,there is no right and wrong weight  :thumbsup:Also as Soo said you may notice he will drop some weight and then steady out this too is normal

Charlie hovers between 440 and 450, he's not a big bird at all really.
