Hi, I've heard that crushed Elder leaves are great to put into your house to keep spiders etc away.
Would they be poisonous to my grey.

Not sure if they're safe or not to be honest, but are u getting troubled with those giant house spiders? We've had loads! One ran across me in bed the other night!!! I've never jumped outta bed so quick in my life it was bloody massive and scarey lol

Oh well that will explain why I haven't seen any more beasts since weekend when I collected some conkers on our doggie walk. Haha cheers mandi I'll collect some more now :)

Aparantly so Kaz, I'd not heard it befor and then heard it 3 times within 2 days

I have the perfect spider catcher it's my Henry Hoover when I see the little sods I go suck them up haha .. I will give them conkers ago though ... I saw on loose women that it's breeding season for them so with us all putting central heating on etc they all coming in not only for a warm but to get it on and make babies, x

I've just found a big boris in my bath!! I've put a conker in there and it just froze lol what is it about the conkers I wonder?

I need some conkers!

I don't want to kill the spiders, spiders are actually thought to be protectors of the home but i'd like to stop the big buggers coming in!

Although im not keen on them I wouldnt kill them just for the sake of it, Dave caught it and put it back outside.... it'll be back no doubt!
