hello
I'm new to this site so sorry if this has already been covered. I'm going away in July for 3 weeks as I'm getting married in Italy. was wondering whats the best solution in regards to my African grey Charlie.

Where abouts are you? There's a place in Yorkshire that do parrot boarding. My avian vet boards so it might be worth checking with your own avian vet, your bird would probably need to be disease tested first though. Do you have any friends or relatives that could take care of him for you?

That's the problem. As it's an abroad wedding family and friends all flying over too. Neighbours that we get on with have cats. So not willing to risk it

Too's nest is run by a lovely lady named Gail. She is not far from gatwick airport, you do have to have the bird tested for beak and feather disease.

Hi, I live in West Cumbria and we are awaiting our first African Grey. Just considering that family would look after him/her if we are away on holiday for say 2 weeks max but does anyone know if there are any organised 'parrot sitters' in Cumbria just in case? Thanks, Andy.

There's real macaw boarding place in yorkshire, I use my avian vets boarding facility they are in northwich.
