Indoor fires OK with African Grey in the house?
« on: November 10, 2014, 12:07:49 PM »

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about indoor fires and African Greys? I am moving into a house with a fireplace and wondering if the smoke is harmful to my African Grey?

Thanks

I have an indoor fire and as long as your chimney is clean you shouldn't have any smoke in the room. Jack has never had a problem with it.
I just make sure we don't burn stuff like plastic on there because that releases fumes.
If we didn't have the fire on we probably would have all died from hypothermia! x

Just bought a halogen heater and its brill, you get the glow of a good fire and the heat is pretty good too.
