Awww well in that case Karen, he is definately a she! 6 is a good age, I wouldn't put her through the operation at that age. Just keep an eye, if you see spots of blood in her hutch, then take her straight to a vet. Hopefully she will be in the 20% that don't get it
Irina, they do take it out from inside, but then there is nothing there to "bulk" up the bag
