It's nice to meet other African Grey owners and to learn more about her behaviour. I have had Lucy about 3 and a half years. She will be 4 on March 1st. She is the first bird I ever had and I have to admit at times a challenge. Mostly cause I don't know what she's trying to tell me and she senses my inexperience.
I found this site looking up something that she has been doing that I didn't know what it meant and it really impressed me and made so much sense after I read what it meant.  I look forward to reading more and learning about her so we can get along better. Right now she is having a huge insecurity problem and I want to read some of the other members problems with that and how they have dealt with it.
Again, thanks for being here. Most people I know are affraid of birds so don't know anything about them.
Look forward to meeting you all. Thanks for letting me join.

Thank you for the welcome Bob and Karen. I wasn't even looking that I could put a picture up of her. I have so much to learn. Think I will do some looking around now and see all the cool stuff.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. It sure looks like I can learn alot here and y'all know your stuff. What brought me here was Lucy and I have "our" time. I sit at the computer and play Pogo and pet her and scratch her head. Just spend time together and when we do that she will kinda get low to the table kinda spread her wings out and nibble on my hands then bob her head up and down and bring up food. I had no idea what that meant so I started looking up stuff on the net and found this site and my answer. Of course we have other issues and I will be searching for answers to those to. As far as I can tell these birds are a wonder and something new everyday. My husband has his TV time every afternoon so thats now gonna be my internet time and I will be right here. Again, thanks everyone.
