MAESTRO has been with me since her birth 17 years ago. She's a Timneh.....oh, and the Queen, she says! She has a small, deliberate vocabulary.
DITTO, Congo male, has been with me since he was 6 mos. old. He's now two and talks non-stop......(practicing his words very low to himself, and then, announcing whatever it might be to whomever is in earshot).....he's a love.
WINGNUT is a Congo male, who I rescued from a horrible home about 1.5 years ago.
He'd been passed around among a handful of young boys, from apt to apt, taunted and poked at through the cage and cut his wings off at the shoulder. The last of that group to have him dumped him on the parents and moved away. The parents shoved him in a dark bedroom with one dowel perch and nearly starved him.
I had placed an ad to adopt a young grey and gave my price range. I'd already made the agreement for Ditto, but these folks called and went to meet "the bird" (as he was named). So, though I knew they had nothing invested, I also knew he was miserable. I bought both Ditto and Wingnut (his new name). He's the most gentle thing you'd ever see, after we got through the fear-biting.

I don't know if this is where I should ask, but with the 2 males introduced roughly at the same time, and both needing lots of attention for different reasons, Ditto is spitefully jealous and knows that Wingnut is a "wounded spirit". Both Ditto and Maestro (his partner in crime) try to pick on poor Wingnut. I sure could use some good advice here. Thanks for providing me a place to share, and let me know if this isn't the place.......you know, TMI!!!

PIX to come later.

Hi and welcome from me :)
I have 4 greys
3 are female 2 male
None are bonded but we don't have quarrels either
Mine share a huge play area and  play aviary
This gives them space and enough stuff to keep away from one another
Though one of my greys is kept on the opposite side of the room away from all the main goings on as she don't fly and could become a easy target
But saying that one will often join her on her java tree and again they just keep their distance .
Have you looked at their diet ? Iv just ordered some natural herbs online to help with 'spring fever' basically its to help kerb the hormonal aggression
If you give us a run down on how they are caged, fed, played with etc we may be able to see something obvious that you may of missed
look forward to seeing pics and hearing all about them xx
