Any recommended books?
« on: December 01, 2016, 04:50:41 PM »

Hi all

I hope everyone is having a good day I've ordered a number of books in the last few days which should arrive soon. I ordered the wild parrots of telegraph hill, For the love of greys and The Alex studies. Can anyone recommend any parrot related books that I should add to my to read list?

Hi

I'm not sure what you want from the books whether it's to learn more about parrots etc or other things but I was lucky enough to get a book signed by Rosemary Low who has had a book out for a little while now called PARROTS and FINCHES healthy nutrition for me it's a really good book to get an idea of just all the different things they can eat and what is healthy for them.

Thanks Tony! I've read Rosemary Low's book why does my parrot? But will definitely add her healthy nutrition book to my list. I've always prepared Lyla's food fresh daily but want to start planning ahead more and preparing bulk batches of chop etc. I'm always looking to learn more about all species of parrots and their care, conservation etc.
