How Do You Introduce Parrots Together?

I have lost my african grey but i have recently brought a new one. if i do mange to find georgiie my missing one do you know how i could introduce them as there both belived to be males and id ont wnat eaither of them to be stressed out or fight.

I really hope you find Georgie, but if you do, they will need to be kept in seperate rooms for a minimum of 28 days in case of infection, then it would be a matter of slowly slowly, you will need to put them in the same room, then gradually move the cages closer together.  Eventually letting them out together supervised, of course.  I don't know if you mean to house them in the same cage, don't know how that would work out, maybe somebody else will advise on that, but the quarantine is essential, especially if Georgie has been in the wild for a while, he will need a good health check as well.

Firstly you must Quarantine any new bird, for a few weeks.
Then let then see eachother, at a distance, and if show signs of stress or aggression, keep them further apart, until they are comfortable in eachothers company. and slowly put there cages closer. and if they get on great. if not problems for you..... But as always it depends on the individual birds as they got individual personalities, I was lucky with mine being that they got on, had they not then it would have been a problem, but I'm sure other members will have their views on this subject, and I also look forward to seeing there replies...

hiya sorry for the late reply ive been busy, the woman didnt email me back and ive emailed her 3 times so i dont know if its him or not. georgiie was with another african grey when i brought him but it was female and dot my new one is male. georgiie was very spolit so he might be jealouse of dot but we will just have to wait and see, georgiies been missing over a year now so i think someones got him :(
