Oh dear. What a shame you are thinking about wing clipping.
I have only had Bailey for a week, but she absolutely loves coming out. I cant even go near the cage door without her trying to get out.
She doesnt seem all that interested in flying when she's is out, but never the less clipping is not something I would ever consider.
She's out right now and the entire kitchen area is on lock down. Windows, doors shut, blinds down, shades on the velux windows and dogs shut out. She's as free as a bird and thats how it should be for me.
If you havent already done 'the deed' please reconsider and look to see if there are ways to 'lock down' your birds flight/play area.
This site is a mine of information and anyone here will advise you on ways to keep your bird safe.
