Hello my name is Paul and don't own a parrot as yet and was going to buy a baby grey but i happend to come across a post by Rc1Gary and it tugged my strings that he had to give his bird to birdline . So rather than buy a baby grey if any one cant sell their bird i have a foreverhome for the right bird. I am at home all the time so the bird will have lots of company and have lots of out the cage time we have 2 children age 11 and 8 and a dog called ob bi 1. hopefully the bird will like men as i will be main carer i do drive so collection can be arranged. I hope i don't sound forward but i am only going off Rc1Gary post were he could not find a buyer or new home. I realise rehomeing is just as important as a new baby grey as their is so many up for sale.

hello Ayesha if you don't mind me asking how did you come across you rehomed parrots?

My first grey missie we bought from gumtree...even though she was not from a rescue centre I always think we rescued her as she didn't get the love and attention she needed and she was left in her cage all day with no toys poppy my second grey I got from this site, she was the last grey up for rehoming x

I think of my Billy like that Ayesha, another sad GumTree story. Definitely recommend a rehome Paul. I love my baby grey, but I feel that Billy seems to be so relaxed and happy/grateful with his life as he had it so bad before. He is a cracking bird :0)
