Hi :)
Dave is no longer here , he went to live with a friend a few weeks ago in her aviary block (indoor and outdoor space)
He was never tame and never will be and he was causing problems for peach .
So we have Echo , peach ,Casper, coco and the baby grey Boomer who is disabled
Then we have skitttles and Bumble the 2 caiques , they are brothers but a year apart in age :)

I remember reading about Dave waiting outside the bathroom for whoever was in there and the cushion being his preferred mode of contact. What is Boomer's story?

Lyla has a slight twist in her legs and this was picked up by her avian vet when she was young. He believes it was caused by her breeder not providing her with the appropriate conditions and incorrect handling of her during the first few months of her life. It doesn't hinder her in anyway but is something I closely monitor.

You have a good memory
It was me dave stalked when in the bathroom
And yes his cushion was still used :)

Boomer , he was stepped on in the nest at around 3 weeks
He thought he was actually dead
He fetched him in and decided to give him a chance , not knowing if he would even wean or fly as his neck is bent and twisted , although a little later than the norm (only by a few weeks) he did wean and he learnt to navigate his flying pretty quick too :)
His primary position is with his head upside down
He holds it the correct way more so now he's a little older and stronger unless he is tired
He can do everything a normal grey can but he does have slimmer perches in his cage as he is of course top heavy when sleeping so I feel it gives him better grip :)
He's one special little boy :)
