New Gonzo Pics
« on: July 25, 2010, 10:03:44 PM »

Here are some new pics of Gonzo. Looked at his hatch certificate and he's not 1 year old till the 2nd of August. He's doing great, eating lots of beans, his usual apple and seeds.

Lovely photos.  He's very cute!!   :baby:  Has he been moulting?  Looks like he has quite a few tail feathers missing on that last pic?

Yes, he is moulting, down feathers everywhere and little grey and red ones. He aslo has pin feathers all over his neck, feel sorry for him. He has one tail feather left and he has some real nice ones growing in. He is so rough on his tail feathers. He's moulted a lot  but broke a lot to with playing in his cage.

Great pics Thomas, looks like you'll have to treat him for his Birthday
Just a thought have you not converted him to pellets as they far superior to seeds.

Just picked up the other thread, where you saw the program on seed diet, mine have seed as a  treat nowadays, and then its a teaspoon full,  maybe once a week. and they are doing great, it took me 11 days to convert Chester, Harrisons and now he wont eat the Fruitburst he was on before. But I am getting them to eat Hemp seed as a reward in clicker training. as its so small.
