Things the vet should of ruled out.

This is the most comprehensive list I've seen.

Certainly from my point of view there was plenty more investigative avenues before calling it hormonal. IIRC cbc, xray, endoscope, toxicology and a couple possible causes.

This lady is the author dr. Y.R.A. (Yvonne) van Zeeland - Veterinary Medicine - Utrecht University http://www.uu.nl/staff/YRAvanZeeland/0on this page she did a 2 part article.

Posted in a journal I did find half in it. As both articles read together are a really good insight into the hard work of diagnosis of cause. Here from above page http://dspace.library.uu.nl/handle/1874/308945

Defo a good find, some of her other papers are pretty good to.

I was quite surprised how many got missed for Will. Willow was treated by a pretty top avian surgery(surgery owner has written a few papers on Greys). Don't really blame them diagnosis is pretty hard. Do recall the next level was doping him. For me in breaking the habit yes, but I suspect it would need some kinda of positive reinforcement on desirable behaviour.
