Some advice please, I have an 18 month old Parrot, we have had him about a year, all has been fine but recently he has started squawking when left alone, even for short periods such as leaving the room for a cup of tea, anybody got experience of anything similar

When he squawks ignore him, the second he stops doing it return to him and praise him.
He is trying to get your attention so dont reward him with your attention whilst he is doing that.

Hi sorry he,s not aggressive, thanks for the advice, have been trying this over the last couple of days and have seen slight improvement, suspect its a matter of being patient!
