Greg, it sounds similar to an issue with coloured pellets - it is done for the benefit of the owners and not the birds and the companies sell what people buy rather than what makes sense unfortunately.  :crazy:

I think once you get your Grey to accept the harness you need to put it on him a few times a week otherwise they will get out of the routine.  Charlie has a harness when we take him out and about, he loves to fly on Dartmoor I don't put it on him until we are ready to take him out of his Pak O Bird though, he doesn't need to be in it any longer than necessary.
i have a 4mth old, reggie i bought the harness same day we brought him home iv put it on him every day since ,its like putting a sock on,that easy, 2 days he was great with it,he loves it cause he knows hes going out ,my tip is when you get it on take straight outside and every time after. ,can you post vids on this forum.
