Only 1 More Day To Go! Please vote!

Well our little Kyler is doing ok he is floating about on page 2 so in with a chance of being in the top 100 children and through to the final in december, he has slipped a bit though so would like to ask for your help!

We’d very much appreciate it if you would support us by voting if you haven’t done so already for our son Kyler who we recently entered into the Next Online modelling competition, we need to keep him on page 2 to be safe!

All you need to do is click the image below then vote on the next page easy as that.

It finishes at noon this Friday 27th and i will update where is is and if he is in the top 100 on Friday so you can all see

Please Support Our Son Kyler

We don’t ask for much from anyone, but we’d love to get your help if you wouldn’t mind?

We’d very much appreciate it if you would support us by voting for our son Kyler who we recently entered into the Next Online modelling competition, the competition started at the begining of November so there’s some catching up to do, the competition closes at the end of November.

Just When I Thought I Had Some Time… More Chicks!

Well I just cannot believe it!!!!

I was just about at the point where I would have a break from hand feeding baby greys, it has been non stop since April this year, there has not been a time when we haven’t had any and once the little girl baby grey goes we have I thought I will have some time to sit and sort out our wedding and honeymoon photos as I am going to make my own albums for them, it’s far to expensive to have them made proffessionally, so was really looking forward to that, I never thought we would get anymore eggs or chicks until next year, but NO, we were out with the breeders yesterday sorting out the Amazons, as Kerry managed to undo her cage and we heard some squeaking coming from a box!! I popped a cam on the nestbox and this is what we saw -

And these chicks are about 3 weeks old, so ready to come out of the nestbox and into the house, meaning no break for me!!!!!! Still it’s all good fun, and they are just so cute! I will update with some photos once I have them inside.

Who's A Pretty Boy Then? Rocco Is!

A HAIRDRESSER’S assistant has been taken under the wing of it’s customers.

But this is no ordinary member of staff as Boyz II Men Barbers on Raikes Close, Hood Manor, had an African Grey parrot join their ranks earlier this year.

And to help raise money for St Rocco’s Hospice they asked customers to donate £1 and put forward a suggestion for his name.

Last week after raising £1,000 the draw was made and the winner was Rocco.

Owner Darran Coulburn said: “Every time people come in they have always asked me have we named that bird yet. Rocco has become a part of the furniture now. Everyone gets intrigued, most people have not seen an African Grey.”

It appears Rocco is already fond of his name.

“He has already come out and said Rocco and he says good morning, hello and come here,” added Darran.
