My African Grey, Princess Parity, flew off on 17th Sept 09 from Streatham, London SW16. I have been fortunate enough to have this loss covered by ITV 5.30pm London News this evening 3rd Oct, with my contact number shown. I have so far received two calls – neither were my parrot, alas, but are possibly of interest to somebody in the same boat.

First call was about an African Grey first spotted just over two weeks ago by a lady in Gravesend.

Second call was about an African Grey, without a ring, captured in St Albans and handed over to a bird sanctury.

I am absolutely gutted as she was spotted in the nearby village but when I got there, there was no sign. I have issued posters and contacted the village newspaper to put an ad too, fingers crossed.
