Our house is a noisy house at the best of times … 4 children tearing the place up 18 parrots 4 of which were inside the house as pets, so when we’re not splitting children up when they’re at each other’s throats we’re blessed with ….. the sound of our children at each other’s throats as mimicked by our parrots!!!
There was one parrot that was particularly bad at this, or should I say good, a little too good!! she was called Mai (She still is don’t worry we haven’t eaten her) … well Mai has gone to a new home as of yesterday ….
she’s still with the family you’ll be pleased to hear, she’s a lovely bird and we wouldn’t have wanted to see her go, she’s gone to live with my Dad as he lives on his own so doesn’t mind a little bit of noise to keep him company.
So now Mai’s gone the difference in noise is amazing … now I’m not saying it’s a quiet house now … it’s far from quiet but the noise level has been turned down a good few notches so now I can at least watch Eastenders in relative peace and quiet!!!
