Topsy Updates Us!

Hi just to let you know that i am getting on great in my forever home.

My mum gives me a bath in the sink now and it is now a routine i am now used to, I sit beside a window in the house so alwaya see whats going on.

I get outside when the weather is good and i must say that i am looking so good. I have some new feathers coming in so thats good. I am still not able to fly but who knows when i can get through a few moults what will happen.

I have a friend and sit and chat to him thruoghout the day we do get on good but just now we are getting out seperatly but he does visit my cage and we preen and play with one another, i enjoy preening toys in my cage and my dad makes up some toys for me to play and chew.

I have plenty of human company too and always a visitor to come over and talk and admire me.

Well i am going off to chew some toys and mum has just made us a nice fruit salad.

Hope you enjoy reading about my update

Topsy Update - July 2012

Hi Topsy is getting on great she has found out how to take a bath herself now,she was trying to bathe in her water bowl so i filled a large dish with water and placed it in the bottom of her cage.

She climbed down to the bottom of the cage and flapped and dipped in the water for ages she was clearly enjoying herself. Mostly though she sits in the kitchen sink while i give her a good soaking, then she goes on top of her cage to flap her wings and dry off.

She is talking more since she came to live with us saying a few things and also counting she is such a cutie.

Topsy's Forever Home

Hi everyone i thought that i have recieved my password blog details that i would update you about Topsy

She has been with us now for around 2 months.

When she first came she would not come out of her cage on her own but now she pops out and in when she pleases.

Topsy does not fly due to her wings being clipped at her previous home but hopefully in time she will be able to do this.

She has made good bird friends with Turvey our baby grey compared to the age difference between them they get on amazingly. Topsy plays with her toys happily and is willing to share them with Turvey too she has frequent showers and now enjoys them.

She has settled in so well I am to include a few pictures of her
