No Stopping her now she is sat out on the playstand enjoying her mash! She seems to love it!! It’s soaked pulses, Cooked veggies, fresh fruit and wholemeal pasta all mixed together and she sat at the bowl for ages!!

Finally this morning Roxy came out of the cage

She was sat on the door as i opened it and climbed straight up and sat on it had a little fly about found our TV in the front room, which was one of the places she use to sit in her old home, so i moved her off there she stepped up after a while of chasing her about and put her on her playstand!

Well today is day 3 and Roxy had a very quiet day yesterday she was just happy sitting in her new cage on her round hoop swing and looking and listerning to Mai chatter on!

She had her cage door open but didn’t want to come out so i didn’t force her, i kept going over to her every hour speaking to her and offering her a tickle which she loves and trying to see if she wanted to step up which she is not use to doing, but wasn’t that keen so i let her be and just kept up the talking and tickles, she tried some mash which she looked at for a while but then ate some so that is good.

I will keep up the tickles today and see if she will come out to play today and i will get some photos of her.

All in all she is doing fine, very quiet but im not surprised!!

Today we are off to collect Roxy who will be AGPC’S newest African grey to be taken on and given a forever home once she is home and settled i will post up some photos of her!

She is just under 2 years i think and has started to pluck her legs through boredom.
